Cooperative Projects and Community Buying Clubs

Co-ops are cooperative communities with a common purpose that are generally expense sharing (rather than income-sharing), and buying clubs are simply groups of people who come together and pool their buying power to purchase in bulk and obtain a significant discount. These creative collectives can range in size from just a few people to hundreds or more mutually benefitting and sharing alternative housing, food, banking services, utilities, healthcare, employment, transportation, insurance, consumer products or other resources.

Cooperatives can create local jobs and boost the local economy, and help address many other issues facing us today including the housing crisis, affordable food, and worker empowerment.  You can do your part by spreading the word and supporting cooperatives near you!
